Twin Cities RISE! Internship Program
The internship program at Twin Cities RISE! provides employers with interns at no cost to the employer. If you
have extra projects and not enough time to complete them, consider
offering an internship opportunity to a Twin Cities RISE! participant.
You will get your work done; and the Twin Cities RISE! participant
will gain:
- Valuable work experience
- Increased confidence
- An opportunity to use and expand their skills
We have found that more than 70% of all TCR! participants
who successfully complete an internship will find employment faster. "She was able to learn new processes
and procedures to supplement her skills. Working at the front desk
is one of the most important jobs at our office, as it creates an
indelible first impression on our customers. We were pleased with
the work she performed here."
- St. Paul WorkForce Center
The internship program consists of a TCR! participant
working an average of 10 hours per week for 8 weeks or more at an
internship site, as well as attending weekly TCR!
classes.
Twin Cities RISE! thoroughly prepares people
