An in depth, skills based, chronological resume workshop detailing the different sections, composition, and finer points of editing.
This resume format is based on current feedback from actual employers. You will at least leave with a basic framework of your resume or perhaps a complete and market ready resume.

April 6, 2016 Workshop Wednesday - Background2-5 pm, Minneapolis

Background workshop – Wednesday, 4/6, 2 to 5 p.m. (including 1-hour supported lab 4-5 p.m.) – Minneapolis Campus. 

This workshop deals with many aspects for the job seeker that has a background to consider. Some of the topics covered will be: an overview of the application and interview process, rules and information for background checks, and when/how to mention a criminal background.

Hiring Process/Job Search workshop - Wednesday, 4/13, 2 to 5 p.m. (including 1-hour supported lab 4-5 p.m.) – St. Paul Campus.

This workshop includes skills around developing an effective job search strategy including a resume and cover letter overview, job search engines, and job posting sites. Also included in this workshop is the complete hiring process broken down and defined from the job application to accepting the hiring offer.

This detailed workshop breaks down the entire interview process and explores topics around what the typical interview process looks like, different types and styles of interview, preparing for the interview, and some common errors made by job seekers throughout the process.
