Empowered and Employed.

Since 1993, Twin Cities R!SE has provided comprehensive workforce development to individuals impacted by racial and socio-economic barriers.

Our approach combines Personal Empowerment, career training, meaningful employment, and long-term support to help R!SERs build careers and work toward lasting financial independence.

Our goal is simple: help every R!SER become Empowered and Employed.

How Our Approach Works

Personal Empowerment (Emotional Intelligence Training)

Personal Empowerment helps R!SERs strengthen self-awareness, communication, confidence, and the skills to navigate challenges at work and in life.

Career Training

R!SERs build practical skills, explore career pathways, prepare for the job search, and strengthen the skills needed to take their next career step.

Meaningful Employment

For us, employment is about more than finding any job. Meaningful employment is work that connects a person’s skills, strengths, interests, and goals with an opportunity where they can succeed, grow, and see a future for themselves.

We help R!SERs pursue careers that offer greater stability, stronger wages, and a path toward financial independence.

Continued Support

R!SERs continue to receive coaching and career support for more than two years after completing training. This long-term support helps them navigate challenges, grow in their careers, and keep moving toward their goals.
